Marking its thirtieth anniversary, Association "Lineka" organized the conference "New challenges in forwarding and logistics business - consequences and perspective" on May 6.At the conference participated a number of distinguished guests who made presentations, reports and speeches. The conference was attended by vice-ministers of the Ministries of Communications and Foreign Affairs, the Lithuanian Customs Department, the Competition Council, heads of other institutions being important for the activities of the association members, as well as the  heads of the related business associations.

During the event, the "SIGN OF GRATITUDE" awards of the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts were awarded for impeccable work, high requirements of personal responsibility and achievements in the field of profession, professionalism, activity, ability to constantly improve qualifications, successful work, active participation in social activities, great contribution to the development of forwarding and logistics business, initiatives to improve business conditions. On behalf of the association, these Vilnius PPAR awards were presented to four freight forwarding and logistics professionals who have been working in the market for more than several decades - to Arūnas Bertašius, general director of UAB "Rhenus Logistics", to Egidijus Ramon, director of marketing and development of UAB "Arijus", to Dainis Petravičias and Edmund, general directors of UAB "Vingės terminalas". Daukantus, who for several decades managed well-known forwarding and logistics companies and was repeatedly elected as the president of the "Lineka" association.
