On December 1, the updated National Transit Control System (NTKS) will be implemented in the working environment.

On December 1, 2024, the Lithuanian Customs will implement the updated National Transit Control System (NTKS) in the working environment, meeting the requirements of NCTS Phase 5. With these actions, the customs authorities are implementing the Work Program related to the development and implementation of electronic systems provided for in the Union Customs Code (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/2879 of December 15, 2023).

The updated NTKS will process and exchange new structure transit declarations, TIR carnets, and transit declarations and TIR operations with export general declaration data.
