On July 5, the Lithuanian Embassy in Ukraine organized a meeting of honorary consuls of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine, where the current issues of political and economic cooperation between Lithuania and Ukraine, innovations in the regulation of the activities of honorary consuls, and reconstruction projects coordinated by Lithuania in Ukraine were discussed. Dainius Petravičius, vice-president of "Lineka" association, director general UAB "Vingės terminalas" participated in the remote meeting organized during the event with the business representatives of Lithuania.
At the meeting, all fifteen honorary consuls of the Republic of Lithuania operating in Ukraine from different regions of Ukraine introduced themselves. Everyone outlined the main problems of their county. Some asked for the help of rehabilitation centers in Lithuania, because the most urgent problem of the last period is contusion. There are a lot of injured people with contusions. Others complained that there was a great need of workers in the fields, because most of them had gone to the war, and there was a lack of agricultural machinery and labor.
All the consuls invited Lithuanian business representatives to establish business relations with the businessmen of their counties. Lithuanian businessmen and honorary consuls shared insights on business and investment opportunities in the regions, and talked about cooperation between honorary consuls and businessmen in the future.
