LITHUANIAN-AZERBAIJAN BUSINESS FORUM INITIATED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA DURING THE OFFICIAL VISIT TO BAKU

Diversification and development of markets is one of the most important preconditions for a resilient economy. In a changing global environment, the direction of increasing economic resilience is becoming particularly important. J. E. President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda š. m. March 2-3 is planning an official visit to Baku, Azerbaijan.

During the visit, attention will be paid to the component of business development opportunities - on March 3. a live bilateral business forum is planned for the morning.

Greater emphasis will be placed on (but not limited to) the food industry, energy, including renewables, products and services in the circular economy, but not limited to these sectors.

The specific details and agenda of the forum are being negotiated with the other party. It is tentatively planned that the business forum will be opened by the leaders of the countries, representatives of the governments of the countries will participate, possible signatures of cooperation documents (G2G, B2B), discussions of the participants and B2B meetings will take place.
