Integre Trans, a transport and logistics services company, will soon add 100 new trucks to its existing fleet of 500 vehicles, following a EUR 7.9 million financing from Citadele Bank for the expansion of the company's operations, according to a statement.
"Integre Trans has experienced strong growth in recent years, with expansion in various directions in Western Europe, including the setting up of companies in Germany, Poland and France, where we opened a new 6,500 sqm warehouse last year. It is also worth mentioning our new branch, which opened last year in Kaunas. Sustainability is one of the key conditions for our development, which is why we are making additional investments in new vehicles with the lowest possible environmental impact," says Žana Kel, owner and CEO of Integre Trans and financial expert. Part of the acquisition is the more environmentally friendly Iveco S-Way NP 460, powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), which Integre Trans decided to purchase after testing the tractor earlier this year. The first two tractors were added to the fleet at the beginning of May and the remaining 8 will arrive this autumn. "Integre Trans is one of the companies that sees both the regulatory changes and the economic slowdown as another opportunity to make changes and to strengthen its position and grow. We are pleased to be able to contribute to the development of an environmentally friendly transport fleet and the transformation of the sector into a greener one, thus gaining a key competitive advantage," comments Vaidas Žagūnis, Member of the Board of Directors of Citadele Bank, Head of Corporate Banking for the Baltics.
